Order journalists, lobbyists and controversy. Some clarification on the last Council
The publication of news on my blog the second session of the National Council of Journalists, edited by Paul Tomassoni and reported in full, and some of my thoughts on what I could see and understand so far, have hit some sensitivity and fed some controversy (and a bit 'confusion about the authorship of the post) with colleagues. In particular, one of them called it "unpleasant to say the allegations of improper lobbying ..." I should have addressed "to the RAI (the reality) territorial Rome and Milan," defendant "misconceptions and prejudices." Which is related to the components and the coordination of the 'area Balzoni "I sent mail, I hope clarifying that can be summarized as follows:
" I confess that I was thrilled by the reactions to some of my considerations.
As for the post there is no mystery. The chronicle of the second session of the National Council is prepared by Paul Tomassone that I have shared over the blog entirely. The ratings are my own, nor claims paternity and defend its merits.
You can agree or disagree with what I wrote, but not - as someone wrote - to support that that is a way "to discredit".
the freedom of the press and thought, even though we are in a climate of gag laws, thank goodness still exists. I'm used to saying what I think and write what I see and understand, and I have no intention of changing my habit because I became the National Council.
What I wrote on my blog is what I have seen and understood in these first two tips, changes in the not exactly edifying. I'm sorry if anyone felt offended by my remarks. But re-reading what is posted on the blog I do not think, honestly, to have written offensive things Balzoni area and some of its own, as has been said. I have delivered harsh judgments about the speech application and the behavior of President Iacopino, as well as the actions of their colleagues in Naples, but given how things went (encrypted messages, vote trading, chosen to be less than a quorum to prevent votes the executive), some "bewilders" was frankly the minimum.
As for lobbyists, I do not consider negative term, it seems to me that he understood that to be a fact, that there is majority support in both the minority led by Iacopino Balzoni. Just look at the origin of the elected bodies of the Order, or the leaders of the two areas to realize this. I would add that it seems to me that it is so natural, even obvious reality that, like Rome, Milan Rai who have the weight and lead the dances. Then smpre should look at the quality of the behaviors, programs and people regardless, but that's another story.
Ultimately, in my observations, there was no hostility to these lobbies, with whom I have worked in these early days in Rome, even the candidates they vote cast (also without the involvement of those lobbies who does not belong). There was only willing to tell what happened, what I saw and what we think about aspects of the difficult road of reform and renewal of the Order.
