Cocoa Maravillao

I might have titled this post "Mamma Ciccio" and what would have been lying. Both are the names that come to mind since yesterday. At least in Spain for the first time Tele5, Iberian version of Channel 5, these were the "synonyms" nicer for Berlusconi.

The story is long, since in those early days, Tele5 put on stage a couple of different programs to groups of dancers: Mamma Ciccio , Italian, and Maravillao Cacao (pronounced "maravigliao "if you will, of course) in Brazil. If you see them there every now Canale5 you can imagine, just like that, pretty and scantily clad.

The funniest thing was that those Cocoa Maravillao suggested the publication of a soluble cocoa (like the late, a class of very popular product in Spain) and many women, when they went to the grocery store, asking the Cocoa Maravillao which was not in store. In the end, it seems (maybe it's just for a noise), Tele5 has sold the rights to a manufacturer of private label, and so began the legend of Berlusconi, the man who can sell even the smoke: the best advertising world.

seems that Berlusconi has returned to sell smoking to the Italians. Too bad: I found it funny when cocoa was selling .

In June Birthdays

Since last March 25, the International PEN started the campaign "Poem Relay" to protest the lack of freedom in China as it prepares to celebrate the Olympic Games in Beijing. Taking the example of the traditional march of the Olympic flame, a poem has virtually traveled from village to village and you could read and hear in the language of each place where it went.

In June

In June the whole
life ends. In June

my heart will die together
and poetry.
Even love dies
and ground trembling
oozes blood.

In June the sun dry everything

skin reveals the depth of the wound. In June the eel

leave puddles bloody

migrates to spawn in distant seas,
more fruitful. In June

the soil dries it splits the streams

voiceless words

not reach the ear of the dead.

Translated to Italian by Nicola Tanda, president of Sardinian PEN.

Shi Tao's poem, which recalls the tragic day of the massacre in Tiananmen Square, has been translated into over sixty languages. In Italy, the poem arribera April 12, from that day, the poem by Shi Tao can also read and listen in Italian .

We thus add to the initiative of International PEN .
