How Long After Drinking Alcohol Can I Take Ativan

Travel in Liguria, the fourth stage: Travel

Genoa (Zena, in zeneise ) is the capital of Liguria, a city that has grown thanks to its port and trade sea. Among its illustrious sons would Christopher Colombo, the homelands of the ten thousand men, beside these magnificent defensive towers would be his home.

Genova - Torri

Via Garibaldi, always important in every Italian city, is especially interesting here, flanked by large buildings in classical and baroque.

Genova - Via Garibaldi

is difficult to say where this reaches the maximum of Baroque inspiration, for me, one of the fragments would be more inspired by this fountain that wants to imitate a waterfall between the rocks.

Genova - Fontana

Quite different is the style of the cathedral, in the transition between the Romanesque and Gothic, with these features alternating rows of white and black, which are found in many other Ligurian temples.

Genova - Duomo

We have the afternoon free disposal, and I live the adventure of hunting ... books! I find five titles in the saga of Sandokan, Salgari; an essay on the curative power of fairy tales, the Italian translation of The Lord of the Rings (the Catalan is crying), a book on the cuisine of Liguria. More than a dictionary and a small grammar of Genoa, and a pair of children's stories in this dialect (both Italian dialect, and language per se, are not yet in a position to opine). Although he has not had time to visit the university library, I feel satisfied with the results of the hunt.

Genoa in Liguria, the third stage: the Cinque Terre and Portovenere in Liguria Travel

finally arrived to the first nature trail of our journey: Cinque Terre. It is of a large nature park in which there are five beautiful beach towns. But we begin the walk from Manarola to Vernazza and we end up, because to do everything the way it takes too long.

Vernazza is a little town that seems to have fallen from the mountain to the port. Its buildings of bright colors focus all the sunlight, but also one that reflects the sea. Everything here is small: the country lanes, the port, even the strong coffee seems more restricted than ever ... but also more flavorful, if possible.

Always among the mountains and the sea, our path is full of life, sun and beauty, and our hearts become lighter of pure joy. But how to explain the peace that permeates it? Here, maybe this little friend will do better than me:

The path ends early for us to Manarola. In the afternoon, the bus brings us to Portovenere, where we find the words of St. Francis of Assisi, of Eugenio Montale, of Lord Byron, Dante and d'Ausias March, and where the sunset is measured in heroic verse.

Nylon Feet Smell Great

, second leg : Seborga, Dolceacqua

the second day of travel, and already in Italy before arriving at what will be our base of operations (Rapallo), we stop in Seborga, a tiny village perched on a mountain that, despite its small size, has had great importance in the territorial struggles between the popes, emperors, and the house of Savoy.

all of this past is but a small Romanesque chapel, the palace was an important abbey, the wonder of narrow streets that cross under arches dedaleschi improbable and, miracle of colors, a Baroque church facade by the artistically painted.

Chiesa barocca a Segorba

Dolceacqua find out around noon, another medieval village. This, however, much larger and dominated by a great castle of the XV, the older tower which dates back to XII. Login to the village by a well-preserved Roman bridge.

Dolceacqua: castello, borgo e ponte romanico

Inside the village are narrow lanes, where the buildings go hand in hand to stand up after many centuries of silent resistance, alleys, without their steps, would be practically inaccessible.

And it was here in Dolceacqua, who started the gourmet part of our journey. I will not extend into the description of the meals, because I consider that There is food to be eaten and enjoyed, not to talk about it, so I'll just say that the whole experience was great, and that the combination of pasta, seafood and wines (and grappa) in Liguria is enough to wish to return.

Utis And Brazilian Wax

Travel in Liguria, the first step: Arles

Liguria, a region from the west coast of Italy including Genoa, is two days from Valencia. So, you could not get there by bus directly, we needed to stop half way. Fortunately, not all of the time course was wasted: The itinerary includes a stop in Arles, a small French town where the brilliant Van Goog lived for a month and we painted a large amount of work.

Arles is today a country of middle importance. Of course, it features a museum on the great Dutch painter, and he rebuilt the house where it stayed there. Narrow streets and old buildings are still its charm, and the town hall in the French Baroque, has its own particular interest, but also the Roman Baths and the majestic Rhone deserve the eyes of travelers.

I, however, I was fascinated in front of the arena, the Roman circus, still showing events that have nothing to envy to the bloody struggles between men or between man and beast, we all remember in films like Quo Vadis?

L'arena d'Arlés

Right, so: in the arena of Arles is still celebrated corridas de toros .
