Yesterday, the day of Saint Vincent Martyr, the patron saint of Valencia, I could see at the touch of bells in the cathedral. Extraordinary because it was the feast of the patron and why we heard the bells on the wide hall.

The bell tower of the cathedral is an octagonal Gothic tower that was built a few feet of the cathedral today, however, after the last enlargement of the temple in the fifteenth century, is already attached to it.

The tower has four bodies. The first is massive, since it must bear the full brunt. The second has a house called "prison", but that was really where I live to justice the fugitives who had sought refuge in the cathedral. The third body found 'the interior of the bell, the last of whom lived there until the early twentieth century. And finally, the fourth body, below the terrace where you can see the whole city, we find the room of the bells, which we have witnessed this extraordinary concert.

The show was double: on the one hand, the sound that made us miss assordente the air, one of the other, the maneuvers of the bell (no automation, the whole concert handmade), so close to the great masses of iron and wood seem to be moving to another for a moment they would be removing the head .

I decided to get my blog in Italian as I prepare to give an examination in May. Unfortunately, I forgot the name of the old blog, so I had to choose another one. And this is not easy to be original, but I would not want those who come do so deceived, I want his name to suggest that those who do not have Italian as their mother tongue and, thus, has a great mastery over language. I thought about it for a long time (fifteen seconds, more or less) and, in the end, I decided to "in other words", a title that now seems very honest.
But what will become the main topic of my blog? Since this moment I do not live in Italy and that my connection to the Italian culture is reduced to the Internet and satellite I think it is advisable to take the themes from these sources to write about. But I also want to do something that I have not fate: reading blogs written by Italians, so I hope to have more direct contact with the Italian company that still do not know.
