BORGO SAN LORENZO: August 9 LAST APERILIBRO COSIMO CALAMINE

Last event Saturday, August 9 at 18 in Piazza Cavour in Borgo San Lorenzo with the "Aperilibro. Closes the cycle of four meetings with literary aperitif Cosimo Calamini the young writer with his "little more than nothing" (Garzanti). The
"aperilibro" are organized by the municipality of Borgo San Lorenzo in collaboration with the association "Friends of the Libraries and the Clock Coffee, appointments in the name of literature" made in Florence "while sipping a drink in the company of the authors.
Born in Florence in 1975, Cosimo Calamini graduated in Literature and Philosophy. In 2003 he was a finalist for the Premio Solinas film subjects with the work Mandovi. In 2004 he graduated in scriptwriting at the Experimental Centre of Cinematography. He works in Rome as a screenwriter and author of documentaries for La7, History Channel, Studio Universal and Rai 3. This is his first novel. Just over
nothing. The protagonists of "A little more than nothing" is Moses and his brother Henry, the wild Vanni (fond of scuba diving) and Pedro, who immigrated from Argentina. They have thirty, they are friends and always very willing to have fun. They also have all the problems that may have now grown a young man in one of the many Italian neighborhoods: work, money, relationships between couples (Vivian Henry has just left ...). But all lives and battered and full of fun adventures, until Henry, nurses and improvised carer does not begin to deal with Adelaide, an elderly woman who, after being locked up for thirty years in a mental hospital, can finally go home. When you enter the apartment of Adelaide, still stunned: she has had all the walls in almost illegible writing, thick dense: the story of a life, perhaps the trail of a treasure.
